Wow...Shades of 1960! We not only have the xprize going but it looks like a bonified government sponsored race back to the moon and eventually mars is brewing. I haven't been this excited since I found that 1/64th scale LEM in my Cheerios box.

Yeah man, good call, well maybe not bout the cerial goodies but the space race thing anyways. I would love the newspapers etc to realy try n brew it a bit, put some pressure on it, make it a big thing for everyone, just so it diesant all fade away n get forgotten about. Let them realy try n compare it to when nasa n the ussr were realy going for it, sort of like when the media always say "the liverpool of the old days when we win a game" think its more of a case of more than one space race though. X-prize, moon, mars, etc. Sure there's more. lets just hope bush announces something good! but realistic, was well excited at first when i heard but 20yr plans i cant wait that long. better hope propulsion improves!
