Where do we go from here?

ehh, i think it won't be that long to get into orbit once we get to suborbit, i'd say 2015 is a safe guess. after all, the teams (or at least some of them) will already have launch systems and/or vehicles that will be able to go into orbit with only modifications in engine burn duration, heat shield and a few directional thrusters. i know that's pretty major, but with a solid suborbital infrastructure, it shouldn't be THAT hard.

Elon Musk recently talked about his intention to build a Saturn V class vehicle if his current launcher can bring in the income. I'll believe it when I see it, but I hope he pulls it off.
