Because the Space Shot might have a chance of winning the Carmack Micro Prize we entered that contest today. Because of the timing factor with the FAA we might as well get it out there! The Micro Challenge would be a tasty tid-bit if no one else claims it before March 10th.

Monroe, is this the rocket you mentioned on the N-Prize forum that you will test launch at LDRS?

Sorry, there wont be any more debating or information given on this project other than what you will soon see on the website. This is our project and I've got too much work to do to field hypothetical questions or options. We are set and the plan is in action. Team Prometheus and Aeronautic Enterprises have too much going on for me to waste any time.
I may give an interview and I might show up here once in a while but it's just to serious to chatter about now. You can follow the progress on the website and I'll give updates after LDRS and BALLS.
NSE-6 is an integral part of this mission and I'll give a profile of that mission when we complete it. But the time for idle chit chat is over. I'm involved in another project in Iowa as well as the ANEI rocket so I'm all tied up.
Other team members may chit chat with you (I'm going to advise against it) but I don't have anymore time for it. It's time to put up and shut up, I just cant be available anymore. It's to complex to explain to anyone's satisfaction anyway. Besides I cant detail the rocket business for you that you have to do on your own. It's not personal anymore it's business.
It could have been different but it's not and now the loop is closed. I wont be interested in chit chat at LDRS either unless it's for an interview I wont be answering any questions I've got work to do and if your not involved with our project stay back! I've had enough. If I'm out walking the flight line that's fine but otherwise please leave me alone.

I like everybody here at the space fellowship and I wish everyone godspeed. Surely you understand.

I think all you had to say was "yes" or "no" to answer my question.

I'm headed down to the coast to try and make arrangements for a static test of the Q motor today. We are also going to haul boat #2 out of the water in dry dock to have the bottom painted. Going to change one of the props on boat #1 and make a trip out to Matagorda.
Truck #1 busted the clutch line or something and I'm going to fix that. Truck #2 is out of commission at the moment I'm going to have to pull one of the heads and see what's wrong with it. I'm also going to look for a barge we can put our crane on (hopefully salvage one) so we don't have to pay a barge every time we want to get equipment to Matagorda.
I'm looking forward to getting the mission control trailer out there and being able to get materials out there to pour concrete for the launch pad and a bunker near the pad. As well as the Antenna mounts.
When I get back I'll update the website with photo's as if anybody care's about the hard work part of the project.
I'll get to work on the UltraCruiser aircraft when I get back and the test grain for the Q motor.
I don't particularly like flying in a small plane but I've got no other choice as the one guy doing most of the work. But at least I wont have to deal with traffic anymore.

How'd the Q test go? Did you get to run it?

TM, I went down there to secure permission to run a test and have local authority support. Not to do the test. I did make arrangements however and we can run a test. Now I can finish preparations for that here.
I did get Truck #2 repaired and it's running good. We got boat #2 out of the water and in dry dock. They found a few spots that needed repair nothing major so we are letting them do that. The boat should be painted and back in the water Thurs. That paint cost $81 per gallon and it was $40 an hour labor.
Boat #1 I did not finish plumbing the gunwales that go below deck to the over the side port so we had about a foot of water in the bilge and the solar panel that powers the bilge pump battery failed.
So I fixed that and pumped out the bilge after we get #2 back in the water #1 will get hauled out and repainted.
Tomorrow I plan to pull the head on truck #1 and get that figured out and take a look at the aircraft plans. Did not make it out to Matagorda due to work done on boat #1 and running out of time.

Got the bulk of what needed to be done, done. Successful trip!

Nope, no FAA clearance. Sooner or later we will get things set up and when we do things will get done more regularly. Still developing realtions with the FAA and developing the Matagorda site. We have some other stuff going on with guidance and making progress there. It takes more time than I want it to, to get things going. We will eventually have what we need, until then it's two steps forward one step back. I'm not concerned I'm making progress that's all I really care about. We will prevail one way or another in time.
