N-Prize contender Peter Jones of Nebula Aerospace posts:
I think its time to post some software for a change. I'm using a PC as the basis of the ground/tracking station, which also conveniently doubles as the launch console. I've put a bit of work into the software now (which interfaces to the electronics I posted earlier) and its at the stage that its now possible to see what's going on. You can find a screenshot at: http://www.nebula-aerospace.com/product ... onsole.png You'll have to forgive the large amount of hatched out data, but it wasn't receiving telemetry from the flight computer at the time. However, if you use google maps on the GPS data, you can see the car park in the field where I took the test. It also gives away the topology I'm using for the aerospike engine (ie 8 inward-canted enginlettes), plus a lot of other stuff I guess ... Cheers Peter Please feel free to discuss this topic further... _________________ > http://www.fullmoonclothing.com > http://www.facebook.com/robsastrophotography > robgoldsmith@hotmail.co.uk |
