We succeed with these two launchs, validating twice the subsystems we will use to reach the orbit in the so called #GranCanariaSpaceport. Papernews said that we reached the orbit, but this is wrong. We validated in a real scenario, a classic Rockoon system that will put femto-satellites into orbit.
http://code.google.com/p/moon-20/wiki/W ... n_Launch15 WHAT IS NEXT? We are talking with our government to have more funding and also we want to involve small enterprises that whant to use this "N-prize made" technology for ad-hoc missions or for Disaster Management applications. You can see a good video summary here (Sorry, only in Spanish): https://www.ulpgc.es/hege/almacen/downl ... elites.avi We are working hard in the Launcher. We have some themal problems with the second stage due to the high power and low mass; but the key is to develop a better engine. Next launchs will be dedicated to test real flights in the near space because we can not test inside the spanish airspace for safety. Hi Josh,
Have been able to solve/control the over pressurizing of your motors? We have also been trying to tame that same tiger and will be testing a new motor next weekend at the FAR site here in the Mojave Desert. Wishing you success for your next flight. Rick |
