I am collaborating with Pat Barthelow to arrange a network of large C-band ground stations to downlink data from the Japanese probe "Unitec-1" secondary spacecraft about to launch to the planet Venus.
We can do the same for any GLXP missions. ** Large ground dish -> low power transmitter -> tiny spacecraft -> cheap to build and launch ** -Charles http://www.www.unisec.jp/unitec-1/en/top.html UNITEC-1unisec.jp UNITEC-1 is the world first type of deep space satellite of the university development. It rides together the satellite of JAXA, named Planet-C. And it is flying toward Venus. |
