I wish I heard more on Angara 100 myself.

Sure Russia have made a good space station with Salyut and MIR, and they have a great Soyuz launcher today and make money from tourism. But my problem with Russia is thus : when compared to the EU, China or NASA then Russia's space agency has little money. Russia has totally neglected the Moon and hasn't gone there since the 70s, and they've failed to explore the outer planets like Saturn, Jupiter Io Europa, Neptune. Yes the Kliper design looks great, but without charity from Europe or Japan it will take at least another 10 years before Kliper flys. |

I expect a Mach 6 abort atop a Stick within a few years with no cryogenics load--just a test to show that NASA can still get things done in a hurry.
Provided the eggheads attacking NASA shut-up. They have resorted to the "Griffin is eating seed corn" nonsense when in fact the anti-engineer types are trying to wreck the tractor. |

Affordable space travel can't be far from coming of age when Russian spammers hit the message boards.

EDIT: Again... this time I have blocked his IP, disabled his email address for registration, his account is still here, disabled, so he can never use the same username again. _________________ Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible. - Lord Kelvin, 1892 |
