Updating the "X Prize in the News Section" 

When do you think media interest in the X-Prize will peak?
When the first of the X-Prize craft fly into space 33%  33%  [ 5 ]
When the X-Prize is won 47%  47%  [ 7 ]
When the X-Prize-Cup is officially announced 13%  13%  [ 2 ]
When the Chinese fly their first astronaut into space 7%  7%  [ 1 ]

It appears that the X-Prize news section hasn't been updated since June 2003.

This topic is a chance to post recent news articles about the X-Prize. If you see an article with X-Prize in it, tell us about it!

Hopefully the X-Prize website staff can then update the website appropriately.

Media attention will peak when the Xprize is won. Then it will soar, when the first famous person takes a private ride to space.

Has anyone asked Tom Hanks, a big proponent of the Xprize, when he is taking his first trip to space?

The XPRIZE was featured on the Dallas NBC TV affliate in their evening news. :D
