Under Windows XP with IE 6.0 outside any LAN I get the message that the site can't be displayed - it's the usual HTTP-message. No link to the problem discussed in this thread identifyable.

Today I got a page with nothing but the words "nothing here" on it. It seemed to be a link to a test page that was not there.

Oke.. lets do a test.... http://www.hyperballracing.com same problem or not... If it's the server logically I would presume this other website of our company should have the same problem.. else I'll have to start digging into the code of the space fellowship and see if I made a mistake... Also, did anyone had the problem "somewhere different" than on the main index page, as example try using http://www.spacefellowship.com/Forum/viewforum.php?f=28 as your start page to enter the website. Any clue where to look for might help a lot.. _________________ Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible. - Lord Kelvin, 1892 |

No, not the same problem at the hyperball site
I did notice that it's only the first load in the session of the site . If I close and reopen the browser, it works the first time. even if I clear all the caches, history, and cookies, subsequent loads of the page work properly. - Jesse |

The problem doesn't occur at none of my PCs no more since several days - everything is normal each time.
I tested the suggested links - no problem occurred. So as far as I am concerned the problem is gone completely. So it can't be a general problem of the site but must be related to particular browsers, servers, providers... Privately I am using Call-by-Call via the german provider Freenet, Hamburg. I'm especially interested if anyone had/has the problem on a page different than the new front page..
