For the prototype we are using the old brush motors off the Ascender 90.
Ground is a little weird on an all carbon vehicle. It looks like the sensors are seeing though it. We put the cap on a bow thruster motor as you suggested and it did the trick, Thanks!

Sometimes we fly under a FAA waiver and sometime as reqular traffic under visual flight with a NOTAM. Each has it's own requirements. It's not so much being restricted from any type of flight condition is doing exactly what you said you would do on the paperwork you have in hand. That way everyone using the airspace that day is on the same page.
