Hello, jpowell,
as far as I remeber your ATO cannot fall to the service when launched from DSS although it will be very slow beacuse of using an ion drive - and it wouldn't fall to the surface at reentry too. The ATO has very large wings compared to SSO or a normal airplane - but is the reason for not falling to the surface the size of the wings only or do they contain air chambers like DSS and the Ascender? I can'Ät remember having read about this at your homepage. If this is business secret or I have overseen the question and its answer in another thread please forget the question.
