 Away 38 Posted on: Fri Jun 26, 2009 9:58 pmOur 100th mission, Away 38 will be lifting off at 7:30am tomorrow morning. In addition to the base systems it's carrying three high def video cameras, one convention video camera, three still cameras, about 30 student experiments, Two small rockets with motor heaters and launch control/monitoring systems.
It's main purpose is to flight qualify a set of new GPS antenna filters and a upgrade to the command/control system for the Tandem airship. John JP Aerospace www.jpaerospace.com |
