Grrr. Oh well.... good luck and best wishes for calm skies and a dry playa -- wish I could join you, but some of us are stuck here in D.C. for a bunch of Power Points at ISDC while you guys are out flying stuff!

Amazing. You all make this look routine. Curious, are the platform rods made of carbon fiber?

The rods are carbon fiber as well as the edges of the foam equipment decks.

The Away 26 video is up at the JPA site:

www.jpaerospace.com

It's the biggest video so far. It starts with a walk around of Away 26, then the launch. The scenes from the on board video really sway and rock. The turbulance went all the way to 80,000 feet. At the end of the on board video sequence you can see the balloon that burst flap in front of the camera. The end the video show the recovery.

Suggestions always welcome.

JP

Cool. Weird: the part of the video where the burst balloon is flapping around in front of the camera has the look and feel of one of those abstract French Art Films from the '70's...

After many attempts to watch the video over the past few days (it consistently hangs at 33 seconds, during the walk around), I would like to suggest that you make .avi or .mov files of the video available
