One Rocket takes too much energy and fuel. I know John Carmack makes 3D video games. I'm 100% sure he's very smart. There's alot of DOOM AI guys in Mojave Aerospace Ventures, LLC.

Why would it need a mothership? SS1 is the only flight that used a mothership, unless you count the X-15.

Armadillo doesn't need a mother ship to get to suborbital altitude.
When they get around to working on going to orbit, they plan on using "reusable" staging. ![]() |
