This is very good news. Congratulations to Armadillo on what I hope will be a successful partnership. I hope your multi-module development goes well.
Cheers! Rob Jellinghaus http://robjsoftware.org (p.s. Thanks for twittering, John!) |

Yeah, we had a power outage that required the site to be restored from backup, and for some reason, the backup was a few months old. So I had to re-create a few things we had added since the backup; we should be all back up to date now.

Is this agreement related to the NASA funded research program?
Or am I confusing things here? BTAIM, I do congratulate Armadillo Aerospace on its plans within the next two months to launch two flights upto nine miles altitude above Oklahoma. (That's above 90% of the earth's atmosphere if I'm not mistaken; good altitude to test maneuvering thrusters and gas-jets). And, if I'm not mistaken, AA is planning to carry out a third launch and flight under NASA's sponsorship, early next year, upto an altitude of 25 miles above NM. As far as I'm concerned, 25 miles up is within the boundary region to outer space. A good place to test all the systems in your rocket-propelled craft. Congratulations! AA is about to turn a major corner in its ambitious program. |
