I have a question about the sensor configuration that Armadillo uses. It appers that Armadillo uses a data acquisition board (the Diamond MM-32) that connects directly to the flight computer rather than individual electrically isolated remote boards hooked up by to the flight computer via ethernet. Is this the case, and if so, why?
![]() For example, SpaceX seems to use internally-designed ethernet data acquisition/control boards... ![]() Research for a personal oil production-related project came up with one of these that's commercially available (although I would guess that there are others, if this one isn't up to Armadillo's spec). ![]() http://www.labjack.com/labjack_ue9.html |
