Check the 'Latest News' page for details on a newspaper's phone interview with the vice-president of Space Transport Corp.

Damn, that's pretty sad. But it was fun while it lasted though.

Last year they were talking about a whole bunch of funding that had come in as a result of all the extra publicity due to the Rubicon 1 demise. So what's happened to this funding?
I agree, it's a pity though. _________________ ~Dan |

According to legend, if a hibernating animal sees its shadow today, we're in for a long winter. If not, spring will come soon.
Either way, spring eventually comes. Happy Groundhog Day! _________________ flyovers, fly-betweens and looks |

Being an avid supporter of STC this is quite sad really but no doubt it is for the best. Even if they do not launch R2 sometime there will be others launching.................in the form of models!
I have just finished my Estes Rubicon model rocket and am now awaiting on motors for it to fly,as long as it doesn't do what R1 did it should be all sweet! That extra funding they got from the R1 incident went into building R2 didn't it? and some of there 3 stager rockets. I await your return Phil and Eric cos lets hope you guys can do it! Iain |
