I'd like to help out with a serious project.
I have 13 years in aerospace & automotive mechanical design and a Pro/E CAD station. Message me if interested. No compensation expected for 10-20 hrs a week design work. All best! |

Thank you Rob!
Glad to be here. Hope to be able to help someone out. I remember waking up early in the AM at 4 or 5 years old to watch an Apollo liftoff on TV. Must have been Apollo 17... not sure but it was a morning liftoff. It made an impression that lasts to this day. Anyway, cool to have found this site and thanks for the welcome! Great astro-pics on your site btw. Best Stu |

Okay... I ended up purchasing a SolidWorks 2008 package yesterday so, 12 years on Pro/E and1.5 on CATIA V4.2 and I have the SolidWorks basics down now after 3 days with the demo.
So, if you are designing on SW and need/want detailing help or any design done... my offer to help still stands. Cheers! |

Masten are looking for interns, perhaps try them for something?
Quote: We had a lot of interest in having interns again this fall, so we’re now open to applications. The previous information is still applicable. Though we are an aerospace company, you don’t need to be an aerospace engineer to apply. There is a great deal of work to be done in electrical, mechatronics, software, and mechanical engineering. Try their forum here, they are usually very helpful! Rob _________________ > http://www.fullmoonclothing.com > http://www.facebook.com/robsastrophotography > robgoldsmith@hotmail.co.uk |

Thanks Rob. I just ran across the blog about that and shot a resume to Jon Goff while you were typing your note above.
