I'm looking for some good technical books on how to design size and and fabricate a rocket that can carry perhaps a small payload, say 10 kg.
I found a few at amazon.com. http://www.amazon.com/Engineering-Liqui ... F8&s=books http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/custom ... e&n=283155 _________________ Something is impossible until it isn't! |

A good book that I really like that's not quite just for rocket design; but it gives a lot of good historical performance and sizing data is "Space Vehicle Design" by Michael D Griffen and James R. French. It's part of the AIAA Education series, ISBN 0-930403-90-8. Sorry, I don't have a link... just grabbed it off of my desk.
It's a definite must read for people first getting into space vehicle design. It will give you introductory level information on all of the major disciplines, lessons learned, etc. Good luck! |

We actually have a real spacecraft designer for a NASA chief.
And he supports HLLVs. He knows his stuff. |
