Anybody planning to attend in October? Do you think it will be worth going to Las Cruces?

I don't know, what sort of entertainment can I expect? Do we know who all is planning to bring vehicles and what they want to do with them?

![]() Wow. I think that counts as our first noob. cgill: we've known about that website (and been checking it religiously, especially last fall for the launch announcements) since before you heard about such a thing as the X Prize. Seriously, though, good job on providing a reference. Not everbody will do that. Anyways, I'd love to go -- if anybody's willing to buy me a round-trip ticket from Atlanta and explain to my professors why I just can't make classes those days.... _________________ American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering In Memoriam... I have been checking that site for a while now but I haven't looked at it in weeks till yesterday and seen they had the line up for who is going to fly. I have been reading this site for about a year 1/2 but I don't post much as you can see |

the quoted website wrote: Oklahoma's Rocketplane Ltd. and Canada's da Vinci Project will show off mockups and real hardware for their spacecraft. Representatives of the two companies said they planned to begin test flights next year and intended to compete in the X PRIZE CUP races to come. Guess which one will show the mockup and which one the real hardware. In any case, going to see what Armadillo has would be 81.3% (roughly) of the reason to be there. The remaining 18.7% would depend on whether or not you get to touch the magic helmet. DKH _________________ Per aspera ad astra |

I didn't think Mike Melvill was going to be there! _________________ American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering In Memoriam...
