Greetings. I am Russell. I thought I would introduce myself here in the Spaceflight Cafe. I hope to get involved and share stories and/or opinions about the future of human spaceflight.

Basic FYI:
I have a blog at www.radhole.com. I write. I enjoy space, stand up comedy, improv, writing, coffee, editing, singing, skipping, Mars, U2, film, odd "pop cultury" humor, DVD collecting, darts, disc golf, movies, throwing stones, walking, star gazing, astronomy, ancient Egypt, salt water botany, carbon nanotube composites, in-situ resource utilization, time travel, regression, Jello, rings, top hats, fox holes, radhole, sticks, poles, biscuits and gravy, coffee, poetry, shopping, spending money, wood work, metal smithing, Industrial Arts, Sea Monkies, acting, thugs, sun shades, comedy, absurdness, a pet emu name Hern, sensual massage, photo ops, crunchy peanut butter, english muffins, butter Slurpees, Shetland ponies and many other neat things.

Favorite Music:
U2. Tenacious D. Brenda Lee. Miles Davis. Bessie Smith. Thelonious Monk. Pop, Jazz, Blues, Blue Grass, Swing, Techno/Trance, Rockabilly, Tuvan Throat Chants and Classical

Favorite Movies:
Back to the Future, Bubba Hotep, Zapped!, Crumb, Ghost World, The Seventh Seal, Seven Samarui, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, Dune, foreign films, some B-Movies. I like directors David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Akira Kurosawa, Martin Scorsese, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Oliver Stone, Richard Donner, Steven Spielberg and Kevin Smith.

Ugh Television:
My televisions are hooked up to DVD players. I watch American Football. Denver Broncos. I don't really watch television but I like Seinfeld, All Things Trek, Night Court, NASA TV, Twin Peaks, Police Squad, MST3k, The Greatest American Hero, Misfits of Science and Mr. Wizard.

Favorite Books:
I read a lot. Some of my favorite books are: The Case for Mars by Robert Zubrin, Failure Is Not an Option: Mission Control from Mercury to Apollo 13 and Beyond by Gene Kranz, The Unbroken Chain (Apogee Books Space Series) by pad leader Guenter Wendt, Flight: My Life in Mission Control by Christopher C. Kraft, Yeager : An Autobiography by Chuck Yeager, The Monuments of Mars: A City on the Edge of Forever (5th Edition) by Richard C. Hoagland, Mere Christianity by CS Lewis, space/astronomy books, My Life by Bill Clinton, The Quickening: Today's Trends, Tomorrow's World by Art Bell, Jennifer L. Osborne, Twixt Will and Will Not: The Dilemma of Measure for Measure by Carolyn Harper

My Heros:
My mom, Stephen Hawking, John Glenn, Neil Armstrong, Robert Zubrin, Gene Kranz, Blinky the Clown, Superman, Jim Henson, John Candy and astronaut Pam Melroy.

I hope you don't work for LockMart's EELV. It looks like they will be moving that line to Decatur AL with the Delta IV plant, according to this week's Ave Week and Space News.
