No thanks. It took long enough to get her to leave.

Liked London on my visit couple of Summers ago. Don't know if I'll be able to make this one, though I'd like to.

I'd discuss the fact that the U.K. and in fact any industrialized country could have its own independent, manned launch program by following the commercial space approach:

On the lasting importance of the SpaceX accomplishment, Page 5: a letter to the European space.

Contrary to popular belief, SSTO's in fact are actually easy. Just use the most efficient engines
and stages at the same time, and the result will automatically be SSTO.

The conference and all the money they are taking, I have had some concerns raised by someone who thinks they might be doing it to get all the money.

I was sent this:

It's a scam for sure:

Quote:
No venue given
Terms and conditions allow IRN to keep money and only issue vouchers in case of cancellation
T&Cs are stated as subject to the Courts of England, Wrong: should be "England and Wales"
At least 4 addresses can be found for International Research Networks Ltd
The company listed at Companies House has a address at Rolleston, Nottinghamshire (private house)
Company address on website (irn-international.com) is false. (I checked)
Irn-international.com website is hosted in the USA - odd for a "British" company
There is also a domain international-research-networks.com in the UK, but linked to the USA one

Could be. Or could be someone trying to spin something up from scratch... Has anyone or you contacted the organizers directly to ask?

Hi Guys,

I am organising the International Space Commerce Summit and work at IRN (International Research Networks). Please be ensured that we are a legitimate company and are endorsed by many different global government agencies.

I am also happy to say that we have great partners for this event: NASA, ESA, SSTL, Astrium, Spacex, MarsOneā€¦ just to name a few.

Please feel free to get in contact with me to get further details in regards to this event or if you are interested in past events that we have hosted (we never had to cancel one by the way). My E-Mail is jonasd[at]irn-international.com or call me on +44 207 111 1615. You can also meet us at our office in central London: 1st Floor, 10-18 Vestry Street, London, N1 7RE

All the best and hopefully see you in London in October!

Jonas
