 What was Ares 1 rocket going to cost before it got cancelled Posted on: Thu May 16, 2013 10:38 amHi there. I hope someone can give me a straight answer to this. I'm trying to find out what Ares 1 (part of the Constellation Program)was going to cost before it got canceled. After scouring the net, I found one estimate for about 5 billion dollars but according to wikipedia it was 40 billion dollars. That can't be right surely. Wiki must have included the Orion and the Ares 5 by mistake. Right?
