Hi there.
I read the faq and i really want to ask this super confuse question. Do i need to fly in the space, build up the machine with real $$$ and hire a pilot to drive for me? Or it is a 3d simulation? I know the faq states very well, but i had a bad understanding in English. Any help? I saw that there already had 7 nation, so i am part of Malaysia also can join? Hmm.. Thanks. _________________ Regards, Chua Wen Ching :p |

Hey,
I may be wrong, but you may have come from my post at TrueVision3D ? Well, this is reality (not 3D), some code may be needed, but most is mechanic. And yes you need real $$$ millions, not thousands or find a sponsor to pay for you. And no, it's not a 3D Simulation, some may use a simulator to test their ship or rocket, but it has to be in reality, to acces space. John Carmack (game programmer) is doing this outside his programming work, so as a total other project. Most teams are already working on the project for years, the x-prize organization predicts "A winner within the next 7-10 months. " Kind Regards, Sigurd |

Sorry, forgot to login, so I can't edit
![]() Well, it seems you're talking out of the "me" position, or because of the english problem you have ? (neither my english is that good, so no prob), so well joining the x-prize competition is maybe already too late, but if all gows well you may be able to buy a ticket soon to go in space ![]() Of course it won't stop you to make a real vehicle and try to beat the challanges with the x-cup races ![]() And you can be part of the community, this community and tell all your friends and fellow people that the x-prize exists and that history will be written very soon. It will be the "first" "private funded" astronaut in space ![]() And the beginning of the commercial space industry! |
