I see on the X-Prize Cup presentation slides that 25 documentaries have been made about the X-Prize. Anyone know where I might find out how to acquire copies of these?

Humm good question..
Maybe you should contact the XPrize organization itself for more information. I tried to search in google.. but couldn't find any.. I've seen one before on National Geographic channel.. but that's all. _________________ Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible. - Lord Kelvin, 1892 |

Apparently, a documentary is being filmed of Scaled Composites' project. According to a Newsweek magazine article published a while back, the film company is Vulcan Productions, owned by Paul Allen, who is also funding the project itself. Maybe that will come out in a few months.

Darn. I have seriously been considering going around the world to document the x-prize teams and the events. Sounds like I've come into the picture too late. If anyone needs professional filming of x-prize events I could be there. All the best.

Discovery has run dozens of them.
And a couple about the various Mars Projects on Devon Island. Discovery is great, ya learn about so many little oddball projects. _________________ What goes up better doggone well stay up! - Morgan Gravitronics, Company Slogan. |

I heard on the day of the launch that Discovery was supposed to be doing one on Scaled, but I haven't seen anything about it.

And of course the heartbreaking tale of astronaut Stevie Austin is not well documented for STC.

The Discovery Channel will be airing a documentary on Scaled Composites in October, according to SpaceDev.
